Enqrique Iglesias tops the Music Week Commercial Pop Chart with his most recent release “Subeme La Radio”
After four consecutive weeks in which they elected the same No.1s, the Upfront and Commercial Pop charts diverge this week, with Rudimental’s Sun Comes Up surging to the summit of the former, while Enrique Iglesias’ Subeme La Radio leads the latter list.
Featuring a vocal from James Arthur, Sun Comes Up is Hackney drum & bass veterans Rudimental’s fourth Upfront No.1 and, perhaps surprisingly, their first since Waiting All Night (feat. Ella Eyre) topped in April 2013. Waiting All Night was taken from their debut album Home, as were their other No.1s, Feel The Love, and Not Giving In, both from 2012.
18 years into his UK chart career, Enrique Iglesias has his first ever No.1 on the Commercial Pop chart with the fashionably Spanglish Subeme La Radio. The track was serviced to clubs in the PBH & Jack Shizzle mix, on which Iglesias is joined by his original accompanists Descemer Bueno, Zion & Lennon, and the subsequent reworking of the track on which they are replaced by Sean Paul and Matt Terry

Already a top 10 hit on the OCC chart, Came Here For Love now scuttles 9-1 Upfront and 7-1 Commercial Pop for Sigala feat. Ella Eyre.
Winning the battle for both charts by a wide margin, the track is in the tropical house vein in its original mix, but has also been serviced in a harder, more tribal variation prepped by GotSome.
It brings Sigala – 24 year old DJ/producer Bruce Fielder – his ninth No.1 on the Upfront list, following Easy Love, Sweet Lovin’ (feat. Bryn Christopher), Say You Do (feat. Imani & DJ Fresh), Give Me Your Love (feat. John Newman & Nile Rodgers), Don’t Need No Money (feat. Imani Williams & Blonde), Ain’t Giving Up (feat. Craig David), Only One (feat. Digital Farm Animals) and, most recently, Kato and Hailee Steinfeld collaboration, Show You Love, which topped in May. It is Sigala’s fifth No.1 on the Commercial Pop chart, where Say You Do, Ain’t Giving Up, Only One and Show You Love reached the summit.
Came Here For Love is Ella Eyre’s third Upfront No.1, and her fourth Commercial Pop No.1. She previously topped the latter list with Naughty Boy & Wiz Khalifa on Think About It in 2013, and returned to the summit with solo singles Together and Good Times in 2015. On the Upfront chart, she previously topped with 2013 Rudimental pairing Waiting All Night and 2015 DJ Fresh cut Gravity.
